Fog

We haven't had a lot of fog in Canberra. I'm sure Abagash has had more fog (or is that smoke?) than a dodgy nightclub on a Saturday night. I was at work early the other morning when I took this shot. Other shots included all the crazy colourful architecture of my workplace muted by fog, but they didn't make the cut. I love this window and the way it makes a frame, but the fog topped it off.

What will be our theme for July? Suggestions are welcome.

Night

Yay!
Finally done, a little late. I had grand plans of taking some long exposure shots of the sky but it became a bit hard when half the mouth the night has had clouds covering the sky. So I had to amend my idea to the slick road and the lights of cars and trucks dancing in straight lines. Enjoy!

Night

I got this photo done in the nick of time before the end of May. It was taken on a rainy night in Thirlmere under an oak tree. I had more ambitious ideas, but time slipped away. This shot is okay, but I'm not entirely happy with it. Oh well, bring on June!

Theme for May 2010

Ash and I had a vague text message conversation about what our next theme should be. Ash suggested night or fog, both are great topics. I'm thinking night for May and perhaps fog for June. We haven't had that much fog in the Berra as yet, so I maybe at a disadvantage!

What do you think? Leave a comment...

Theme colour:

Still dragging my heels, but I made it in the month given to me so generously. I couldn't just pick one colour, so I picked the three that have been catching my eyes the most. First is the crazy red autum leaves that abound it these highlands. The second is my pride and joy the virgining seedlings sprouting from my freshly renovated veggie patch beds. A morning is always enriched by going to look at the greenery that is breaking through the fawn mulch. The third is my flower (Jade's) favorite lilly that is not yet in flower but still awe inducing with it's sumptuous leaves.
So what are we doing for next month?

Abagash set the first theme. Colour.
